Letter to Colonel Thomas L. Kane, 1858, September 1.

Photostat of a letter from Brigham Young in Salt Lake City to Colonel Thomas L. Kane. The letter was to accompany George D. Cannon "East" for his "business pertaining to the Press." Young writes that Cannon would be under the direction of Col. Kane, and hopes their interactions will "aid in ridding our fair Territory of her foreign dictators and oppressors."
